Lazy Summer Day

It's a pleasant summer afternoon. You are wandering a local park when you come across one of it's water features. The moisture of it in the shade is relaxing while hinting at refreshing. You glance at the man made waterfall as anyone would, with interest and mild intrigue. You make a mental note of the bridge above it thinking you will want to check it out but until then, you want to read a few more chapters in your book. Brushing off a few specks of dirt, you sit down on a stone ledge, book in your lap, and open up to your bookmark. Before returning to your story, you take one last glance. The sound of cicadas off in the near distance. The wind resettling the leaves as the birds play their games. The shadows dancing in the wind as it plays with your hair. The rush of water echoing around you little private cove as if you were the only one alive. You sigh a relieving sigh and begin where you left off in your novel.

I love cold weather. I love rain. I always like it when it's cold, dreary, dark, or whatever is sorta depressing for weather. I love it. I'm in a fantastic mood! I recently made Candied ginger (I like calling them asian potatoes :D). I'm sorta gingered out now but I might make more for other people. Maybe Christmas presents... I also have a job that I start soon. It's not my ideal but it's money. I much rather Best Buy but Academy Sports and Outdoors looks like I will get great managers. I'll be a cashier and I choose it to begin with because I have no interest in sports so there I can learn about the products. I hope everyone is ok or will be so soon. Have a marvelous season!

  • Tools of the Trade: Sony H9 , my HP TX2510us, Adobe PSE 7, PhotoScape, and other stuff.
